the oyster strikes back

according to my good friend ava, who texted me the answer to the question in my previous entry, OYSTER stands for Out-of-school Youth Serving Toward Economic Recovery. The word "pulis" is attached because they were deployed by the Manila Police Chief Pedro Bulaong. (for that she gets a special prize! whopee!)

but something still bothers me. if they are OSYs then how come a lot of these oysters are old? do OSYs also include those on leave from taking up masters or doctoral degrees? hihihi. Or does the term "youth" include people up to the age of 99?
