belated

Happy birthday Cathy!!! you are the best bf in the whole world!

naku, apologies my BF! i wasn't able to greet you on your special day (feb 27). so sorry.

at last!

we have a new marketing person! woohoo! AND kakilala ko siya! hahaha. how cool is that?

pj, who is taking over my job and doing more than that (she'll be officially handling the marketing requirements of the whole company) was my officemate before in my previous NGO work and now she's my officemate...again. haha. ang galing. this is really such a small world. she sabi ko na nga ba at crush ako ng babaeng ito. lagi akong sinusundan! (joke lng pj)

on her third day, she was assigned to go with me to bacolod for an event. haha. we've been planning for an out-of-town-trip-just-for-girls ages ago and now, we were able to do that because of work. wala pang gastos. hahaha. i'll post an entry on our bacolod adventure after i return from batangas.

i can't imagine saying this but i have to admit, my work keeps gett better and better every day! sana palaging ganito.

Baguio

straight from cebu, noel picked me up from the airport and we headed home to get my stuff and board the bus bound for baguio at 1am. we were just in time for boarding. i almost thought we wouldn't make it.

this is kyle. noel's nephew who celebrated his birthday a few days early so that we can be with him. i met some of noel's relatives from both sides (mother and father) there.

(L-R) ate phoebe, me and noel
this was taken at Kafeeklatsch, a new discovery. its a nice place to hang out. they have local artists entertaining guests every day of the week, including sundays! they play acoustic music. nice place to bring your date. and they have great coffee (for the coffee addicts) and food! yummy! plus, it is relatively cheap. it has a nice ambience. you need to go there and experience it yourself. (i wasn't able to take pictures of the place because i was so absorbed in listening to the music)

with kyle and guenne outside noel's parents house just before going to SM. we promised to take them grocery shopping.

with ate mei-ann in front of noel's parents house gate. (tama ba yun english ko? basta. yun na yun.)

outline of noel's dad and his two nephews while they walk towards the corner where they can hail a cab. since noel's mom is confined to a wheel chair, we have to get a cab so that we don't need to wheel her out so far. matarik pa naman. baguio eh.

we were able to witness the dragon dance at SM. they were celebrating the chinese new year that day.

this is noel downing one-day old chicks near burnham park. foodtrip! eww. haha. i would never eat that. i hope. unless im joining fear factor and eating it would guarantee me a million bucks. hehe.

music to our ears. we watched them sing at kaffeeklatsch on our last day. it was also a memorable experience since we, meaning me and noel, were "forced" to sing onstage. hehehe. i'll be posting the video soon. as soon as i get it. if i will get it. (paging noel!)

kodak moment with noel's cousin and parents and my cousin too.

cebu launch

for the sake of posting pictures and since this is the first time i'm going to cebu, i'm going to post my sabog look. we had to be at the airport by 4am, hence the icky limp ponytail. this is the effect of not properly airdrying your hair. if you want to salvage your career, wake up earlier for a more beautiful you! this is my first time to fly cebu pacific so i was quite anxious. i was wondering if i will still make it back in one piece. i guess so, as evidenced by this blog entry.
guess who was in the seat in front of us? pepe smith! can you make out his features despite the blurry effect? he was moving around so i wasn't able to get a crisp picture. i was too shy to ask for a photo-op. plus he and his wife (? im not really sure if she is her wife. does he have one?) were acting very lovey-dovey. he and his bandmates were very makulit. cracking jokes every now and then. definitely made me feel much better despite being grumpy because it was a bad hair day and the fact that i had to wake up at 3am when i slept around 1am.

setting up. our plane arrived at cebu 8am and since we did not book ourselves in a hotel (we were going back to manila that same day), we headed straight to ayala malls for the event. now i know how it feels to be alone in a mall. btw, the mall was great! it was so big and clean. maybe because i was one of the first to arrive there. it was still closed when we arrived.

people lining and signing up to enter the booth/main arena. i wish i could join them. there were great freebies and raffle prizes. one booth even had free picture printing!

people inquiring and buying from our supported partner, Thinking Tools. chaos during the whole day! i tried to sleep in one corner of the booth but i kept waking up every few minutes. nakaka-conscious! nakanganga at tumutulo laway ko kapag natutulog. hehehe. and there were a lot of customers going from booth to booth.

photo-op before leaving with the sales staff. it was just like a client call to ortigas. everything seemed surreal. i cannot imagine having traveled to cebu and back in just one day! maybe next time i'll stay longer to enjoy the sights and culture.

c e b u . . . B?

im going to cebu this coming friday for work but i will be back the same day. can you believe?

parang client call lang ako around metro manila. first time ko pa naman pupunta ng cebu tapos mall at airport lang ang mararating ko. anyway, once i've saved enough, yayayain ko si noel pumunta. hehehe.
